Our research focuses on understanding neural networks underlying higher order cognitive processes in the human brain

How the loss of neural plasticity that naturally occurs during ageing impact senory and motor processes?

Can we use brain stimulation to ameliorate age-related changes in brain plasticity?

Tackling these complex aspects of brain functioning is at the core of our research. We combine methods from experimental and clinical psychology with a variety of techniques including high-density electrophysiological recording techniques (EEG), functional and structural magnetic resonance, interventional techniques (TMS/tDCS) and behavioural measures as indexes of cognitive processes.
